A VICTORIAN company will reignite a battle over the state's lucrative wagering licence by challenging Tabcorp's retail betting monopoly.VenueNet has said it will install dozens of internet betting terminals in pubs and other venues in Victoria, NSW and Queensland in the next fortnight. The move comes two months after a VenueNet terminal was torn out of a South Melbourne pub by the state's gambling regulator in response to complaints by Tabcorp that the kiosk infringed on the company's licence. VenueNet says the terminal is merely the equivalent of a laptop computer or iPhone.
