West Coast's pre-match planning for Carlton suffered a slight hiccup on Friday night, when a laptop computer containing video data for the players was stolen before a team meeting at its hotel.

An Eagles spokesman said the theft ``did not affect us too much" in the lead-up to the match, which the Eagles lost by 49 points.

He said the laptop had been taken during ``a three-minute window" when a staff member setting up a conference room for the team meeting left the room briefly. Police have been told of the theft.
